This report draws on the experiences of innovators in The Earthshot Prize portfolio, alongside insights from investors, funders and development partners to examine one of the defining challenges of our time: how to get climate finance where it is needed most. It opens with a clear provocation: the global financial system is not broken, it is unfinished. The tools for transformative climate action already exist. What is missing is the will and the architecture to deploy them at scale, particularly in the communities and regions most exposed to climate risk. Together, these mechanisms offer a blueprint for redirecting capital with intention and equity. The report concludes that the path forward lies not in waiting for new tools to be invented, but in applying and scaling what already works.
