Innovation Spotlight - Featuring The Earthshot Prize’s Asia Finalists

Held as part of the Innovation Showcase at the Philanthropy Asia Summit 2026, the Innovation Spotlight convened over 30 innovators, startups, and social enterprises advancing solutions across climate, health, and inclusive development.
Bringing together partners and organisations from across the global impact ecosystem, the Innovation Spotlight highlights cutting-edge approaches, technologies, and models that are translating innovation into real-world impact, featuring keynote sessions from Tencent, Google Deepmind, and BRIN (Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency).
This included a feature on the Earthshot Prize, of which Temasek Trust is a Founding Partner, and three of their Asia finalists, to spotlight solutions in the climate space coming out of Asia that can tackle critical global chalenges.
Coast 4C - high quality, sustainable seaweed
Finalists of the Earthshot Prize in 2024, we were joined by Nicholas Hill, CEO and Co-Founder of Coast 4C, who shared about their ambition to to build the world's largest regenerative seaweed value chain in Asia, while uplifting livelihoods and restoring the ocean. Operating primarily in the Philippines, Coast 4C partners with smallholder farmers to build sustainable, traceable seaweed supply chains.
Phool - turning floral waste into sustainable materials
Ankit, CEO of Phool, joined us on the Innovation Spotlight to share how they are transforming millions of tons of discarded temple floral waste into sustainable, eco-friendly products. 2022 Finalists of the Earthshot Prize, their flagship material, Fleather, is a 100% biodegradable vegan leather alternative.
S4S Technologies - empowering smallholder farmers, minimising agricultural waste
Earthshot Prize Winner 2023, S4S Technologies’ CEO Dr. Vaibhav Tidke joined us at PAS. Their solar-powered dryers and processing equipment combats food waste and enables smallholder farmers to transform agricultural waste into value-added food ingredients. By empowering rural women as micro-entrepreneurs, they uplift livelihoods, champion climate resilience, whilst reducing post-harvest food loss.
The Earthshot Prize and Co-Axis are partnering up to spotlight high-impact and scalable solutions to our planet’s most critical challenges. By bringing Earthshot Finalists and Winners onto the Co-Axis platform, this collaboration connects eco-innovators with a global ecosystem of purposeful investors, philanthropists, and impact leaders.
